Legacy: Overload book review

By Warren Murphy and Gerald Welch

The newest novel in the Legacy series of books by Warren Murphy and Gerald Welch has just been released and it’s a winner. Once more we are following the adventures of Remo William’s children, Freya and Stone as they try to find their way within Sinanju.

This newest adventure pits them against an old adversary of their grandfather, Remo’s father, Bill Roam, otherwise known as Sunny Joe. The man they are squaring off against is actually a caricature of a well-known ‘90’s action star. You can figure it out for yourselves once you read the book.

While he actually does turn out to be dangerous in his own almost laughable way, it’s the implications of what is found in his warehouse that raises the eyebrows more. Longtime fans will know exactly what I am talking about once they read the newest addition to the series.

This series gets better and better with each new book. This new novel is no exception. It’s really good stuff and as far as I’m concerned a ‘must read’ for fans of the action/adventure genre as well as fans of the fantastic ‘Destroyer’ series. Five stars easily. Go buy it today!

Your daily Ralph!~Blog Hopping with Bobby Nash, Lee Houston Jr, and Sean Taylor

I've been selected to do a Blog Hop with fellow authors Bobby Nash, Lee Houston Jr. , and Sean Taylor. You can find Bobby's here;  Lee's here  and tomorrow Sean's will be here

1. What am I working on?

At the moment I'm doing post production on the sequel to 'The  Cagliostro Chronicles', entitled 'The Cagliostro Chronicles II: Conflagration' I'm also writing a story for Pro Se publications to be featured in an anthology of theirs. After that I have another novel entitled 'Hyperforce' set to be released in July. This all follows  up my recent release 'My Enemy, Myself, The Crystalon Saga, Book Two'

2. How does my work differ from others in its genre?

Well, I'm not sure if there is a correct answer to that question save to say that my work is in my voice. I write sci-fi/fantasy/action-adventure novels. My work is large on action with a quick pace that enthralls readers. I believe in keeping readers interested, so my chapters almost always end on something that will make readers want to keep reading or come back as soon as they can. I use larger than life characters and put them in tough situations that tax them to their limits and beyond. They have no limits. If they do they fail.

3. Why do I write what I do?

It's what interests me. I write what I would like to read. Meaning lots of action, interesting characters, exotic locales and characters. I don't like being bored when i read, so I write stuff that would make me continue reading.

4. How does your writing process work?

I usually write at night. Or if not all at night I may do a thousand words during the day and another  thousand at night. I usually start with a bare bones idea, sort of a story frame and go from there. I never know what the guts of the  story are until I write them I have to be excited about what I write as I write it. I have to be surprised at the twists and turns my stories take. if I plot too heavily it becomes boring.  If I'm bored with what I write, so will readers. So that can never happen.

You can find out more about what I write at http://RLAngeloJr.com or http://tinyurl.com/ralphsamazon . My twitter is @RLAngeloJr and my facebook is http://facebook.com/AuthorRalphLAngeloJr
